About St. Francis School

Founded in 2003 by Very Rev. Monsignor Dr. Charles Agu, St. Francis School is committed to quality education and nurturing virtuous leaders. Our journey began with just 33 pupils and a vision for excellence...

Our Founding and Vision
  • Founded on October 13th, 2003, by Very Rev. Monsignor Dr. Charles Agu.
  • Delivering the highest quality education with high standards, including a policy against admitting underage children into Nursery One.
  • Producing excellent and virtuous students, empowering them to fulfill their God-given talents and become great leaders.
Our Growth and Development
  • Started with 33 pupils, 5 teachers, 2 childminders, and a driver.
  • Began in a small Church hall, moved to the F.B. hall, and now occupy a dedicated story building for Nursery and a three-story building for Basic classes.
  • Continuously upgraded curriculum and established a well-equipped Computer Lab.
Challenges and Achievements
  • Lack of conducive classrooms, inconsistent power supply, lack of fans, dusty and rough floors, and daily packing of furniture.
  • Won 1st position trophy on Catholic Children's Day during Monsignor Dr. Charles Agu's leadership.
  • Strong commitment to community service: visits to Orphanage Homes, ZOOs, and Nkpogu School for less privileged children.
  • Remarkable population growth from 33 to 175 pupils in the following academic year after a successful church presentation.

With over 20 years of experience in education, Sis. Christine kelechi leads St. Francis with a passion for nurturing every child’s potential. Her vision is to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where students excel academically and grow in character.
